The media used to create this image were: 3D Studio Max and Adobe Photoshop. This is a 3-dimensional visual image of rhodopsin. Rhodopsin is an integral-membrane photopigment protein that is found in the retina of the eye. It consists of a transmembrane glycoprotein and a chromophore.
